Satbir
In 2017, based in Surrey, British Columbia, Satbir started Sattea Loose Teas–named after her Mom, and the business evolved into Sattea Mobile Tea Boutique, offering afternoon tea catering services.
Satbir loves tea so much that she began to study everything there was to know about tea–or so she thought. This thirst for knowledge about tea led to a discovery of the quality loose teas available and in 2017, she completed a Tea Sommelier certificate through the Tea & Herbal Association of Canada.
SatNAM
Supporting her kids in all they do is what being a Mom means to Satnam. When her daughter Satbir announced she wanted to open a tea business, Satnam traveled to India and visited tea estates and began learning about tea. She learned about the different types of teas and how they are made. She acquired a quantity of tea and never waivered in her support of her daughter’s dream.
You’ll see Satnam at most Sattea events taking photos and greeting guests. She is an integral part of the business and loves connecting with everyone she meets.
